The Girl on the Train is the story of Rachel Watson's life post-divorce. Every day, she takes the train in to work in London, and every day the train passes by her old house. The house she lived in with her husband, who still lives there, with his new wife and child. As she attempts to not focus on her pain, she starts watching a couple a few houses down -- Megan and Scott Hipwell. She creates a wonderful dream life for them in her head, about how they are a perfect happy family. And then one day, as the train passes, she sees something shocking, filling her with rage. The next day, she wakes up with a horrible hangover, various wounds and bruises, and no memory of the night before. She has only a feeling: something bad happened. Then come the TV reports: Megan Hipwell is missing. Rachel becomes invested in the case and trying to find out what happened to Megan, where she is, and what exactly she herself was up to that same night Megan went missing. Less The very first trailer for the film “The Girl on the Train,” has debuted and it features Emily Blunt as “Rachel,” who get’s mixed up in the mystery of her ex-husband’s (Justin Theroux) missing nanny. The film follows Rachel Watson and her life after divorce. And every single day she takes the train to work all the way in London. .

And every day she gets to pass by the house she used to live in with her husband. The one that now lives in the very same home with a new wife and his own children. Rachel attempts to refocus her attention but it’s not always that easy. She begins watching a house and a new couple (Scott Hipwell and Megan Hipwell), just a few houses down the road. What happens when  she see’s something and it fills Rachel with rage? Suddenly, just one day later she wakes up with a terrible hangover, wounds and bruises and no memory of the previous night.

Will she be able to figure out what happened the night before?  TV reports come in and she figures out that “Megan Hipwell,” is missing. She then becomes super invested in the case and tries to figure out what happened to Megan. If you haven’t seen the trailer check it out below because it’s creepy.

“Why are you here?” Rachel is asked by a voice sounds “Because I’m afraid of myself,” she replies in fear.
