Chris Pine: Happy Birthday & stay tuned for his film Wonder Woman!
Chris Pine was born in Los Angeles and it seems that acting runs in the family because his Mother (Gwynne Gilford) and Father (Robert Pine) were both actors. And we can’t seem to froget that his grandparents played an important role in his life as well because Max M. Gilford was president of the “Hollywood Bar Association.”
Today is a special day for Chris pine because it’s his Birthday. A lot of you might remember Chris from the film “Star Trek,” in 2009, he played “Kirik,” remember? Pine has also played in a lot of other fan-favorites including “Star Trek: Into the Darkness,” Rise of the Guardians,” The Finest Hours,” and even “Horrible Bosses 2.”
Chris Pine has worked hard in the industry to get where he is today. Things started in 2003 when he worked on ER and that quickly escalated into a blown up career. He was also on “Smokin’ Aces,” and “Just My Luck.” (Those were two of my absolute favorites). And after taking a look at his upcoming work in films, we can look forward to “Wonder Woman,” where he plays “Steve Trevor.” The film is about a ‘Amazonian,’ princess who leaves her home island to explore but in the process of discovering the world she becomes one of its most renowned heroes.
It seriously looks and sounds amazing, if you haven’t seen the trailer for “Wonder Woman,” check it out below. It’s currently in post production and should be released in 2017.
