Gene Wilder: 83 years of acting, he’s inspirational!
It seems we’ve lost another talented man in the industry… Gene Wilder has passed away today (August 29, 2016) at 83-years-old. I can’t believe Gene Wilder was born on June 11, 1933— huh? (When you remember him from the 1990s, it’s crazy to think he was born in the 30s. At least for me it is crazy to imagine). It was just shortly after 3 p.m. EST that his family confirmed his passing but it has not been said what caused his passing.
We’ll always remember Gene Wilder for his amazing on performances on and off-screen. But I think most of us will remember him best from “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.” But at least we can look at the positives about Gene Wilder, he taught the world a lot and many will never forget him.
That’s a lot of time and passion to put into stage plays and on-screen acting. And at 83-years-old you have a lot of experience under your belt. Gene Wilder was a loving man who loved to be around his family, friends and fans.
He loved teaching people and with acting there was always something new to learn. Gene Wilder played in one of my childhood favorites “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.” But we must not forget the other excellent features he was a part of like:
Yo Gabba Gabba!
Will & Grace
The Lady in Question
Alice in Wonderland
Murder in a Small Town
Something Wilder (TV Series)
See No Evil, Hear No Evil
And the list goes on and on, you can check that out on his IMDB page. It would be a great way to celebrate all of his success (giving his history a look, a person’s life is everything) and it’s great to see what people have accomplished throughout their life. Everything that Wilder has done is inspirational, especially for those pursing a career in acting and film.
