Ludacris started off the week with good vibes while prepping up for his 11th annual Ludaday Weekend in Atlanta. But even though he’s been busy posting pictures and videos on Instagram of what he’s up too he hasn’t forgotten the people who helped him reach his goals in life.
Ludacris took to Instagram and wrote about a boy—or “hero,” of his saying:
‘Best way to start off my week. I met another Hero of mine today and he is one of the strongest minds and spirits I’ve had the pleasure of talking to in my lifetime. He’s only 19 years old and we mostly spoke about how what seems impossible is always possible with the right mindset. He knows this from personal experience because he hasn’t let his set back set him back. I salute you @the_hopper97 make sure you follow him and give him some words of encouragement. #loveistheanswer #ludadayweekend2016 repost @shepherdcenter … Shepherd Center patient Ryley Hopper of Raleigh, N.C., received quite the surprise when one of his favorite artists and actors — @ludacris — came to visit, offering words of encouragement and discussing their favorite installment of the Fast and Furious movie franchise.”
D’awww, what an amazing way to start off the week and we’re sure he was just as happy to see you. The 19-year-old boy (Ryley Hopper) was injured in July after making the mistake to dive into a shallow end of a swimming pool. Hooper fractured his C6 vertebrae and became paralyzed from the neck down.
And Ludacris has always been one of his favorite actors and rappers in the industry. He even posted about meeting Ludacris saying:
“the_hopper97What a crazy opportunity to visit with @ludacris today! Thanks for coming through and the good wishes. www.thefight4ry.com #ncwomen”
