Miley Cyrus would rather help others than be on the Red Carpet!
Miley Cyrus, she’s a good person, with a huge heart and the drive to do whats right in life. There’s a new interview with Elle for the October issue and she’s opening up about her time doing “A Very Murray Christmas.” And it doesn’t like Miley Cyrus will be doing the red carpet ever again because “it’s like a skit—it’s like Zoolander,” she described it to Elle.
She opened up about how there “people starving,” in the world while she’s on a carpet that’s red. And she really drove the point home. She said:
“[A year ago] I had to do the [A Very Murray Christmas] premiere, and I will never do a red carpet again. Why, when people are starving, am I on a carpet that’s red? Because I’m ‘important’? Because I’m ‘famous’? That’s not how I roll. It’s like a skit—it’s like Zoolander.”
And when it comes to Pokemon Go, she wants to be active on the new addicting game but doesn’t feel like she’ll quite understand how to use the apps. She said:
“No. I want to be. I don’t know how to use it. I feel like I’ll be an old lady that’s too held back, because I don’t keep up with it. I’m not on Pokémon Go. [This morning] Liam woke up and tried to go to the car wash because it was a—what do you call it?—PokéSpot. Like, “Got to go find them and catch them all! Ahh!”
There’s no doubt that Pokémon Go is addicting (that’s why I had to delete it off my main phone and play during the weekends) and we’re glad to see that Miley Cyrus is still looking to make larger differences in this world. She always wants to change things for the better. She’s always working hard with her “Happy Hippie Foundation,” and she’s staying involved in the lives of those who help her become a better person.
She’s an excellent example to those looking to making positive impacts in the world. There’s so much we can do and Miley Cyrus has demonstrated exactly what it takes to change the world. Motivation, drive and dedication. Let us know what you think in the comments below. And don’t forget to talk about how Miley Cyrus’s little sister just got signed on a HUGE record deal. Isn’t that freaking exciting as well? [As I talked about in a previous blog], it makes us wonder will there be a collaboration between the two [Miley Cyrus and her little sister?]
I sure hope so, don’t you?
