Emma Watson stands up for gender equality! Check it out!
Emma Watson has always been a strong activist. And she’s very committed when it comes to being the UN Women Goodwill Ambassador. Watson loves service work just as much as she loves being in films and that’s one thing we love about her so much because she’s so dedicated and responsible.
The gorgeous British actress has been working very hard since 2014 to bring forth an understanding and common ground on gender equality. The reason she wants to keep voicing her thoughts is because it creates conversation and that could lead to change if people listen.
One of her latest efforts to speak up for gender equality came in the form of a short-video. Hurdles is a short video featuring Aussie singer and a narration that Emma Watson will be doing with her own voice. The film uses footage from the women’s 100m hurdles when the Tokyo Olympics took place in 1964. And it aims to highlight all the obstacles that women have faced in the past and present.
It’s a battle for achieving equal rights. And we all deserve equal rights, don’t you agree? Let us know your thoughts about the video in the comments below and don’t forget to subscribe to our positive celebrity gossip Newsletter. It’s easier to stay up-to-date on the latest entertainment news.
